IELTS Speaking Tip : “Expose Yourself to Different Ideas on Different Topics”

The IELTS Speaking test consists of three parts which are an interview about your personal information, a long turn where you will have to speak about a certain topic for one to two minutes, and a discussion about a topic in a broader context.

The third part will require you to give an opinion and support it with good arguments and examples. These topics can be unfamiliar for you if you have not been exposed to different ideas about different things. By reading a lot and thinking about various points of view on a particular subject, you will be ready to give any opinion which can be supported with good arguments and examples.
